Our HomeAmador Valley High School is a three-time California Distinguished School, a National School of Character, and a two-time National Blue Ribbon School. We are part of the Pleasanton Unified School District. In 2008, Newsweek ranked Amador Valley High School as the 317th school nationwide in its publication comparing the nation's top 1300 schools.
The school is also known nationally for its Robotics Program, DECA Organization, Marching Band, and We the People team. Students from Amador Valley have competed in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, have won prestigious awards such as the Presidential Scholar award, and have represented the United States at the national J8 competition. Amador Valley students are recognized in the area for their dedication towards career-oriented programs and extracurriculars.
